Enhancing Bitumen Properties through Worm Mix Asphalt Additives: A Study on Physical and Rheological Characteristics

This study aimed to determine how various concentrations of warm mix asphalt (WMA) additives can affect the rheological and physical characteristics cement. Bitumen was modified by chemical additive PAWMA® with an addition ratio (0.2, 0.4, 0.6), while organic additives, Sasobit® Kaowax®, were added at (2, 4, 6%) weight bitumen. hardness, softness, temperature susceptibility, viscosity, elastic behavior have all been measured using a variety tests, such as penetration degree, softening point, index, rotational dynamic shear rheology. showed that bitumen properties affected differently according type percentage WMA employed. The PAWMA additive, for instance, raised Kaowax® decreased degree. inverse occurred point values. All lowered viscosity Results from rheometer (DSR) rutting index value (G*/Sin) rose, indicating improved resistance.
